We’ve been made aware of a scam in which individuals are impersonating medical professionals and contacting patients by phone. One known incident involved a caller claiming to be a “senior health advisor” linked to a GP practice, who asked about medical issues before offering medication for a fee and requesting bank details. Please be cautious—this is a known fraud number (01900 516 559) previously linked to scams. If you receive a suspicious call, do not share personal or financial information. Report any concerns to Action Fraud at www.actionfraud.police.uk or call 0300 123 2040.
